A few weeks ago you announced Escape Plan as the name of what might possibly be your final project. Since then, we haven’t heard anything new related to the project. Can you give us an update?
Sure. What do you want to know?
In your video you mentioned a few people you are working with for this project, can you share any more details on those features?
I have a great line up of guest features & producers that I’m working with this time around. I got a track called Bones featuring Harley O & Smiley Smudge. Smudge produced the track and he dropped a sick verse. Harley & I have done tracks together in the past but he’s never been featured on one of my albums, so we had to make it happen this time.
Is that all?
Naw, it wouldn’t be a Bizz-ee album without my man Illete da Kid.
You didn’t work with him on The Seven Deadly Sins.
I didn’t work with anyone on The Seven Deadly Sins. Smudge provided a beat for the project but didn’t have any input on it.
So you are working with Illete again?
Yeah definitely! We got a track for the strip clubs featuring him & a dude that goes by Quis. You know how we do it. Me & da Kid always on that club tip when we working together. (Laughs) We’re still working on a few other tracks together too. We’ll see how those turn out and go from there.
On your Facebook page you mentioned you wanted to work with Stevie Stone, Blind Fury, Nesto The Owner & Snoop Dogg. How are those coming along?
I can’t tell you all my surprises. You’ll have to wait until next month when my next single drops. (Laughs) One of those guys will be on the next single. The rest, I’m still working on.
Let’s talk about the production on this album. Who is providing the sounds?
Let’s talk about these beats! Haha… Man, this project is sounding amazing. I’m serious. As of right now Smudge has 4 or 5 beats, Sean Divine, Kajmir, Mr. Flamez all have a couple I’m working with as well. I’m really excited about what we got with Sean. It fits the sound of the album really well.
You had gone thru a lot when you did The Seven Deadly Sins, what direction are you going with for Escape Plan?
The Seven Deadly Sins was dark and it reflected where I was at the time I did that album. Now I’m in a different place. I’ve done a lot of growing since 2009/2010, both musically and as a person. Escape Plan will reflect that.
We can we except Escape Plan to be released?
Originally I had planned on releasing it on my 25th Birthday which is June 25th but I’m kind of behind schedule with production so I might have to push it out another month. I want this one to sound right. No short cuts. Getting all my features done and back takes time too; they have their own schedule with touring and recording. This will be my biggest album yet, you will not be disappointed. Everyone who is waiting will be pleased and everyone who has been sleeping will be blown away!
Alright cool. That’s all I got thanks for your time.
